The Big Breakfast: Myth?

We’ve all heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The reason being, if you eat a great big one, you’ll be less hungry throughout the rest of the day. Right?
The results of a recent German study suggest otherwise. According to the study, a bigger breakfast actually doesn’t save you from hunger, it just piles up calories. Subjects in the study ate the same amount for lunch and dinner as they would any other day, regardless of how much they ate for breakfast.
What this means is if you feel like you don’t need breakfast, don’t eat breakfast. If you can’t start your day without it, then by all means have it, just don’t overeat. It seems having a huge breakfast won’t actually make you less hungry later.
